A pupil of Luc-Olivier Merson, with whom she later collaborated by painting flowers on the borders of his designs for tapestries, Marcelle Krier-Lambrette was mainly active as a flower painter. She won several prizes and medals at the exhibitions of the Salon des Artistes Français.
